dirt n salty sweat are on my face
all long winter long i had to wait
but i’m working on a garden today
a satisfied man i will surely be
when i stand here and my eyes sure do see
zucchini squash lettuce corn and beans
tomatoes herbs and plenty in-between
workin on a garden in the sun
so you dig the holes and add the plants and seeds
add water sun and love and wait and see
so beautiful you hardly can believe
and more food then you ever care to eat
so feed em to the people all around town
fry em up or cook em on a grill
if anything is bound to get my mood up
